Last weekend some friends and I hiked the main loop of the Thunder Swamp Trail in the Poconos. There were some waterfalls, many swamps, and hiking along scenic Bushkill Creek. This is an easy trail.

Thanks for posting this trail report and information. As I get older (almost 71), I continue to look for trails that will get me out there but still seem appropriate to my aging legs & knees. I had an overuse injury this summer with my legs in the Catskills but this looks doable. Appreciate your posting this here.

Sure, another great easier trail is the south loop of the Pinchot Trail. 14 miles, and the section along Choke Creek is very scenic.
