Hammersley Wild Area (PA)

An overnight backpack into the Hammersley Wild Area this fall. The colors were incredible, as were the views from the meadows. To complete the loop I used an off trail ridgewalk with meadows and views of the canyon. This loop has some great campsites and streamside hiking.

Nice. I still need to make it to the Hammersley meadows... it was on our itinerary for two separate backpacking trips I did there with friends, but they were more interested in hanging out in camp down on Hammersley Fork then they were in exploring our surroundings.
