    GPS Brands

We all know that a C/M is the first thing to learn and GPS is just a backup.

To understand how messed up GPS can be, I went through (3) Magellan Tritons and none would get recognized by my PC Vista. Now I am getting an "equivalent" Garmin in exchange. Has anyone here ever been on tech. support for almost a total of 10 hours??? I was beyond nuts.

I understand Garmin is a much better item. P.S. I also got a new 'Lensatic Compass' for less than $10 and it is very cool. I won't be getting lost this summer. (Watch out for that falling tree.........!!!!!!!!!!)

Go back to XP. Vista is a downgrade.

Yeah, I know. Vista sucks, but it came with my new computer - no option. I hope the Garmin works okay with it.
