    Need A GPS

Going into a new area this fall hunting and I am looking for an easy to use GPS
    unit.

I hunt alone and would like a simple unit to get me in and out and store needed locations. Any suggestions would be great.

You can certainly purchase some basic units as a lower cost. I would recommend something with Mapping capabilities, it turns it into a completely different piece of equipment.

I have a Garmin E-trex Legend. you can shop around online for it, and probably pick one up for $110-120. Under dense cover it may lose signal for a moment, but I've had pretty good luck with it. Someone else may want to comment about the units with external anntenas. I have no experience using one. Redhawk, and a few other's have had some good luck with the Rino line, they may be able to step in and give you some suggestions as well.

Just do a search here on GPS. there are many threads here with recommendations as well as reviews.
