    Cliff/Marshall Tracklogs

    Hello everybody.

I was wondering if anybody would be nice enough to share their tracklogs of Cliff and/or Marshall (via the Herbert Brook path).

    Thanks

I have my tracks from doing Cliff on 2 different occassions, once in each of the last 2 summers. Never did get a track on Marshall though (figured the path was easy enough to follow).

I think www.alavigne.net might have them:

Let me know if you use National Geographic's Topo! software and I'll share my Cliff info. I could export it to a text file of raw data to import into another topo software if that's needed, but I'll need to know if I should bother first.

      Hi kevin !

Unfortunately I don't have NG Topo!, I'm using GPSU, GPS Trackmaker & Mapsource. It'd be really nice of you if you could export it. I need the regular path for Cliff, not the one you posted in this forum

As for Marshall, on Andrew's site, it is not the path from Herbert Brook.

      Thanks

Here ya go. It starts at the rock cairn for Redfield (near the Uphill Lean-to), then leaves the redfield path on the right maybe .1 miles in. Because of the dense cover these waypoints could be 100 feet or more off, depending on the signal strength of the GPS at that time. On this hike that could impact navigation since the path(s) are so narrow and field of view limited. Should still be useful for taking bearings though, which is all I ever use the GPS for.

Good luck on the hike, it's a tough mile from that junction.

I just notice the way that the track logs for Cliff2004 from andrew's site were exported you'd have to manually edit/separate the UTC for each track before importing.

            No thanks
