  • Trail mileage

Last fall or winter I stumbled across a map of Adirondack trails that had distances on them. They were color coded. In srca they had every trail marked ie: the .1 mile from ocher pond to the 5 mile truck trail . If you scroll down I was able to find trails around north and south lake near Forestport with the mileage Does anyone know where I can find a map like this?

An online option is the Caltopo website and showing the Mapbuilder Topo layer. I see it shows many (but not all) portages in SRCA. Zoom in to see mileage on short trails.

Very powerful multi layering in Caltopo with different type & age maps helps research any area.

You mention in your first post "if you scroll down". Did you mean to include a link? Any further description of the map to go on?

            Definitely not this map then?

No that's not it. My guess it was put out by someone with hiking interests and the short carries were included.
