Howdy,
Here is a easy homemade GPS mount for a camera hiking pole.
I bought a Garmin handlebar GPS mount,
Hammered out the hinge pin.
Cut with a hand saw the cork trekking pole knob flat,
Cut in some channels, Dremel tool ground it to fit the top half of the handlebar mount.
Pressed the mount into the cork,
drilled through the cork into the hinge pin hole,
hammered a S.S. rod into it.
Then used a small screw where the clamp bolt was.
I had to make a couple of these for my friends when they saw mine.
I have been using it for four years now and it works great.
