    Kid carrier...

I seem to remember some threads on which kiddie packs were recommended. I'm not having any luck w/ the search feature though, so I'd thought I'd toss out the question again.

IIRC, the Tough Traveler had a good following here.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

We had a very basic Kelty. It worked great. In doing a Google search on Kelty just now I see they have come a long way....lot's more bells and whistles than 10 years ago.

We have a Kelty Pathfinder. Bells and whistles-wise, its got a few, but its not maxed out.

        I would recommend going for a pack with 1. a sunshade, 2. stirrups, 3. a good harness.

Remember, too, that the pack has to fit you, so try it on the same way you would a backpack... with weight! Also, if someone else is going to be carrying the pack, too, make sure they try it on, as well. Some packs are better for certain sized people than others.
