Does anyone know a good place to get Glue Syringes for seam sealing? After searching all over the Capital Region I still haven't found any place that sells them. I tried hobby shops, art supply stores, craft stores and woodworking stores, EMS and even Dick's sporting goods and none of them carry them. I eventually broke down and ordered a kit from Aerostich (a motorcycle suit manufacturer) that has a glue syringe but also contains a tube of seam sealer and a can of silicon spray for $14. My Aerostich suit could use some seam sealing and a new coat of silicon spray so I didn't mind buying the kit but I don't wat to have to do that every time I need a glue syringe.
If anyone isn't familiar with glue syringes... They are a big fat plastic syringe with a curved tip that allows you to make a very controlled fine bead of seam sealer exactly where you want it with no spillage or running. It makes it incredibly easy and neat to follow the stichs along a seam.
