Is that the glow in the dark line?

Sounds like a great idea for me. The bears can see their way directly to the tent, no fumbling around!

Seriously. I can see where it would prevent someone from tripping over the guy line at night. I guess you need to weigh the cost effectiveness and the actual quality and tensile strength of the line.

$15.00 for 50 feet is procey
180 pounds breaking strength is not a lot if you are pitched in the wind.

      I think Campmor Carries it.

Another alternative would be some reflector tape stips torn off and attached to a line (like little flags" every 2 feet or so.

i guess it's got other good qualities besides it's reflectiveness

like superduper lightweight - not that i care that much about a couple ounces.

but also, it's suppose to have great knot strength, and also wick water away - unlike normal paracord.

i've heard good things from other people on other sites.

        couldn't find any at campmor.com or EMS.com

i went ahead and ordered 50' from REI.

        eh, maybe i'm a sucker.

            ahhhhhh.

my product search for "kelty cord" and "trip tease" (with a space) did not find it earlier.

oh well, no big deal, i paid the same price at REI.
