    Zipper repair

I need to have the zipper replaced on a Eureka Timberline Tent. The local shoe repair couldn’t do it because their equipment would shred the material. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can get this repaired?

Did you contact Eureka in Binghamton? They were very helpful when my brother had trouble with his tent.

      PB,
I consider that but I was looking someplace closer to the Capitol District.

I've had problems with the zippers on my Eureka tents in the past - I've sent them all back to Eureka (Johnson Camping Center) in Binghamton and their turnaround time was pretty good. I always requested that they put a much heavier weight zipper on as the replacement, and never had a problem once the heavier zipper was on. Eureka has a good list of tent care tips on their website, and also some info on the need to clean the zippers that I had not thought about (or did) myself.
