Lost neon yellow yak trak - Sewards

Any one traveling the blueberry footpath between summer trailhead and Calkins Brook intersection, please keep an eye out for that lost yak trak. It was a holiday gift and Seymour was the maiden voyage, so I wore them once. I think it fell off at this intersection when I was trying to fix my headlamp. I didn't realize it until I was slipping all over the trail and half way to the summer trailhead. Also, between the summer trailhead and the same intersection on the right side of the trail coming from the summer trailhead, i lost a blue and white bandana. Fresh baked goods reward. Thank you!!

no yak trak - only blue bandana

i went in to retreive my lost items last week. i was banking on finding the yak trak since it's neon yellow. i only found the blue bandana. it might be further on the blueberry foot path than the calkins horse trail intersection.

It's best to rig a strap of some kind over the toes. Thats what they make the pro version for.

Mine are fine with my Lacross Winter Boots but don't stay well on another cheap walmart boot

Aileen, Just one question: What's a "yak trak"?

          ALG (bob)?

you'll have to activate the link below. you'll see the essence of the yak trak. redhawk is right about the top of foot strap. EMS near my doesn't have the proversion.

you and i met about 2.5 years ago at 4 corners. we went over to gray.

yesterday was a mile stone. i finished my W46 on top santanoni. what a feeling!!

Hi Aileen. It was June '02. Congrats on completing your Winter46! I finished my first 46 last June, and am working on my W46 now (just 34 to go!). Still bribing folks with the baked goods, eh? Way to go. -ALGonquin Bob
