That's a real drag. I walked most of that stretch yesterday but turned off just before Indian Falls towards Tabletop. There was anywhere from 3-6 inches of fresh snow from Wed. night covering everything. I could have walked right by without knowing.

yeah, it stinks....hey anyone know a John and Steve Miller? (i know the last name is right for sure, but the first names are a little foggy, but i think its correct) They were the father and son team i met at 10 pm on the trail who said they'd give it the college try to look for it. They def sounded like they were from either upstate NY or someplace close to that. However, i forgot to leave my information at the lodj when we left and was hoping to still get in contact with those two guys to at least thank them for keeping an eye out.

Ebenezer - First, sorry that you lost the GPS. Did you call the HPIC and let them know?

I found a wallet this past fall coming back from Iroquois, it was late and the HPIC was closed and no one around so I left a note in the register for the fellow and called the HPIC the next morning. All ended on a happy note- the man came out the next morning and found my note and the HPIC gave him the details. Mailed it back and all was well....So maybe there is a little holiday hope for your GPS.

Did you ever find it? I know they are not cheap as I own one myself.
