    Thanks! [to all] :)

In a week we have 70 members, and an active board. Lots of good vibes and quality posts. I want to thank all of you who've come aboard so early in adkforum's journey, without the mebership it would have been a VERY long week for me .

I want to send a special thanks to mtgoat, who I knew previous on a computing forum, and who lives nowhere near the adks, for the time and expertise he's volunteered to share here on adkforum.com

Now, mind you, these 70 are through my own initial push on other hiking forums (getting the word out) and some members stopping by from 2 computing forums I frequent. This doesn't even include any internet referrals (yet), as it takes most search engines months to find, spider, and add sites to their databases.

    Only up from here!

    Aw shucks, it's nothing!

I enjoy it and I like being able to share what little **cough** that I know. If I wasn't wanting to return to Alaska this is one of my top pics for where I would move. It is also nice to be able to help out because due to my recent loss it is giving me that extra thing to keep me occupied and feel better!

You may also wish to ask Joel of adirondackjourney.com to provide a link. His site is well-known and very, very good.

I don't know how many "spiders" may get caught in this web...but this one most certainly has.
Mr. Fuzzy Duck... certainly lured me in.

                Hey Kev,

Check out Adirondack Life. Maybe they can help provide a link or advertisement.

                  Hey Kevin,
This is the website I've been waiting for!! It's the pefect way for people in this area to get together for trips and give thier opinions about gear and hikes. Thanks again for all the hard work!

In the cage there is food.
Not much, But there is food.
