    Every page starts with <

    Is it just me, or does every page on the forum now have a < at the very top of it?

    From looking at the html source, right after the <body> tag there is a comment that says
    <<!-- logo -->
    with an extra < at the beginning.

    Was the forum software recently upgraded?

    If you go on the forum via firefox, its not there! An html string is broken, according to my source.....I just noticed it myself a few days ago, but who knows?

      Interesting, I use Firefox (version 2.0.0.14) and that's where I noticed it. I just opened the page in IE7 and I see it there too. Strange that you don't see it in Firefox!

            I've been seeing it too for the last week or two.

            I just thought it meant that this forum "is greater than" something else. As in:

            1 < 2

                I have Firefox 2.0.0.9 on an Intel Mac. I don't see any "<."

                  I'm only seeing it top left corner, when I'm on AOL.....

                  My son said, your individual browser settings could hide it!

                    I see it.

                    I checked View - Source
                    and saw this at the top:

                      Neil.....After viewing the source code, use "ctrl+f" then search "<<" without quotes.

                      The problem will appear highlighted....

                        Colden has the problem spotted.

                        <<!-- logo -->

                        One of the leading "<" has to be removed.

                              Redhawk, I'm certain that would be a result of me adding it, but I haven't a clue WHY I would ever add it there (the reason eludes me years later). Good news is that it's an easy fix for Neil / Tim to have it removed.

                              It's funny that we had this discussion many moons ago, but not with anyone who could do anything about it(?).
