    We're Back :)

    Sorry for the down time. I usually like to announce when I'm going to take the forums offline for a while, but wanted to act quickly on a good new hosting deal.

      Kevin is aware of the avatar problem. He's not sure whats wrong or how he's going to fix it. He'll take care of it when he gets home from work this evening.

              Avatars and attached files are missing, kinda. Looking into why they're in the database but not actually available to us.

                      So far only bad news. Looks like the attached files and such got corrupted during the backup or were exported incorrectly by phpadmin. Basically means, all the attached files on the forum are poop now. Includes avatars, so if you want a custom one you'll need to re-upload it. Only good news is that all the posts/content are intact. I'm going to have to blow away all the attachments since the place holders look worse than a blank spot will.

                          It's a known bug that no one notified us (admins) about. We're just expected to perpetually update and supposedly one of the upgrade/updates fixed the issue. My backups, with regards to attachments and avatars, are useless. I'm going to have to toss them now in order to clean things up. Thankfully the issue didn't translate to content, otherwise 2 years of forum data would have been flushed in a single click last night.
