I saw a story this morning reporting 6 died because of an avalanche
during the descent.What it is is in your head ! -
according to BBC it was 11 total. It seems a fixed line at "the bottleneck" failed, due to an avalanche, and 9 were trapped near the summit overnight. Apparently none survived. 1 porter died in the rescue, and someone fell to their death.
I would expect those numbers to change before this is all over. hopefully for the better. the reports are very contradictory, so who really knows at this point.He found himself wondering at times, especially in the autumn, about the wild lands, and strange visions of mountains that he had never seen came into his dreams.Comment
