    York Staters

    What brought me to this forum orginally was the sense of community I find through reading everyone's post and this both cultivates my appreciation for my upstate NY homeland. It also keeps me in touch with what's happening while I'm distant. Either way, I was doing a search on my hometown the other day and stumbled upon this blog:

    I'm not a huge fan of blogs because I feel like they're a product of the "look at me!", "look at me!" mentality, but this one is good. It celebrates the upstate NY region and I wanted to share that with you.

          The wikipedia page on the adirondacks is pretty good too... (I got to it from following the upstater link to wikipedia... )
