Full lineup announced...
I just recently saw Twiddle at the Peach Festival last weekend, and caught Pigeons out at Red Rocks in Colorado the weekend prior...Good times!
Just in time to close out the summer, Adirondack Independence Music Festival snuck in a final taste of carefree living and beaming sunshine with a two-day jam in Lake George. Tucked away in upstate New York, the cozy site with two alternating stages backdropped the Labor Day Weekend everybody needed with familiar faces and top-notch talent across the early September lineup.
Just in case anyone was curious & didn’t hear yet, Twiddle has been announced as the second headliner for Saturday night’s show. Those Vermonsters sure can put on a great show! Past couple years were a lot of fun, can’t wait for this year hope to see some of you there!
It looks interesting, but it appears there is no on-site camping, and it is a long distance. And I have had to move my 3 night trip into the Plains, usually timed to end the night before early bear opens, to the day after Labor Day due to playing commitments of my own that have come up. I generally get my music fix from the Rochester International Jazz Festival in June. That title usually draws snickers from people unfamiliar with the RIJF, but it is an impressive event, over 200 free, pass admission, or ticketed, shows over 9 days.
There is nearby camping at the Battlelground Campground & Heartstone Campground but they fill up quick, and if you snooze you’re sure to lose.
Some hotels & motels still available nearby with a search.
I’m not sure there are any “jazz music” artists in the lineup, or if Charles R. Wood Park is considered “woods” but it’ll definitely be a really fun time with some great music and some nearby camping options non the less.

"But I don’t happen to know much about jazz. I know that most of those cats are playing nothing but blues though – I know that much!"
