Deer Processing, jerky/sausage etc

Anyone know of a processing place, not for butchering, but for sausages, sticks, dogs etc.? Anywhere around here (50 miles around or so)

Roland,

Check out http://www.rolfsporkstore.com/ it's in Albany, there stuff is pretty good that I have had. A little closer to you is Big Johns, 45 North Milton Road, 587-3680. I heard they are real good too.

That would be Miller's Meat Market, out on the #4 Road past Beech's Landing. I know there are several others near Lowville as well. There is a web page with a partial list of deer processors by county.

Yes Miller's.

A coworker had jerky made from his moose. That stuff is like crack.

Delicious.

Call Chester - great Polish butcher. Will make just about anything out of your deer. Prices are expected but quality is awesome. 518-237-7212
