Adirondack Bushcraft

Hey'ya guys. Giguere here. My dad runs a site, and group dubbed "Adirondack Bushcraft." We do just as the name suggests. We're a group of native adirondackers who enjoy the woods, and are trying to master outdoor living. We practice mainly what the community would dub "Survival", but we would like it not to be called this, as it brings around a sense of the Rambo-esque danger scenario. We try to live at peace with the natural world, not against it, nor fight it. We're canoe'ers aswell. We're not by anymeans light backpackers, as we carry multiple fixed blades, and axes, but use none for deforestation, each tool has a purpose. A calling. None of our tools are used to de-nude the forest, nor ruin it for you other outdoorsy folk. We cherish the outdoors so much, we wish to not ruin it for others with a similar disposition.

Note: Don't be allarmed if you happen to catch us on the trail in a pair of dickies, a carrhart jacket with a large linseed soaked axe strapped to our pack and a sizeable fixedblade resting at our hip.

-Dakota, of Adirondack Bushcraft

Appoligize guys! Just remembered my password for this site... Anyways; Our tools are mainly used to build... other tools. We make pretty much anything that you might come across. A Wooden spoon. A cutting board (Sounds kinda odd) Bows, Arrows, Atlatls, anything that can be basically made of wood. We're at AdirondackBushcraft.com (Yes, pretty obvious, I know. ))
