1.5 left for me. They don't even fit in my largest fly box.... I might have to send them along in some tupperware :-)

things are coming along on my end. didn't have enough hooks for what i wanted to tie originally so started something else. Just looked at Bleekers and mine are pretty close to what he tied so as to have more of a variety I'm going to get my hand one some more hooks and go with my original pattern and crank em out. hoping to have them all done this weekend and get them in the mail next week.

Wiley, no need to switch patterns. I love spun deer hair flies so the more the merrier. I'd love to see your take on the baitfish fly as mine is constantly evolving. Even in tying the 14 flies for this swap, mine changed two or three times :-)

I sent my cousin that picture and he almost cried when I told him I was giving them all away.

Bleecker's flies are in the mail to me! EagleCrag's will shortly follow. Time for the rest of us to get a move on! I will definitely finish up this weekend.

i want to finish mine as soon as possible so i can tie some adams and some other dries. I love teaching in a small rural mountain school. most schools have students that bring teachers normal gifts, i have students that bring me skinned rabbit carcasses and pheasant tails to tie with. tons of natural rabbit to dub with, awesome gift!

Hi Guys,

Sounds like some of you are really cranking them out ahead of schedule too!

As for this slacker ,I`ll be starting a few of them hopefully after work today...not easy chasing down coyotes for their hide and trapping the muskrat and raccoons,oh did I mention the fox snares are still empty too, and balancing work in there too!! But, I do think I will have enough material to complete some tonite from some old bullet holed pelts I have lying around, but for the rest of the order I will need to see some fur in these traps very soon.Skinning and tanning takes some time as well!! And on a side note ,Buffy Specials don`t look good either, don`t you think she knows what we`re up to ,haven`t seen hide nor hair of her in weeks!! I`ll keep you guys informed of my slow progress!! Thanks for your patience!

Poor little Buffy!!! At least you don't have Ross rifling through your materials and using up all your good stuff on flies so big they chase the fish up onto the shore.

Yup true dat for me.. All my free time has been spent on the ice or house sitting my son's place .. I did break the vise out to tie up some bucktail jigs for lakers though , and caught a few..
Like said , I'm doing a spring steelhead streamer (hope some of you get a chance to swing it on the SR this spring) and it's super easy to tie and very effective so I will crank them out soon.. Gotta stop into Goldstocks (near where I'm house sitting) for just a few extra supplies, mainly extra for me

I'm still in the game and can't wait !!

Just a teaser of my happenings.. Been walking on water at least 2 days every week since Dec-5-2013

NICE Laker, Ripple!!!

I just now completed my last fly for the swap and so lifted myself out of the slacker category.

Just finished up my last fly and they are ready to be sent out! Was able to pick up what I needed friday and tied up a stonefly nymph imitation that I came up with last year. If you can shoot me an address to send them VT I'll get them in the mail this week. Now time for a celebratory bourbon! Excited to see what everyone has tied up, Cheers!
