Mosquito Creek Gorge-Quehanna Wild Area

https://endlessmountains.wordpress.c...nna-wild-area/

A superb 10 mile backpack into a gorge with rapids and large boulders, ruins from the logging era, and vast meadows with incredible cottongrass blooms. Quehanna is a special place. We camped in a beautiful grove of hemlocks and enjoyed an incredible display of stars.

Ah, I've been looking at that for a while, but haven't managed to get there. Looks great, and thanks for sharing! I still need to check out the stretch upstream from Bridge Trail.

Quehanna Wild Area is one of my absolute top areas to explore. Some other worthwhile spots in there are Paige Run and the beaver ponds up Twelvemile Run.

Quehanna is fascinating, so much there. I'd also like to explore the meadows and creek upstream of Bridge Trail.
