New routes Deadwater left side

We ran into Steve M. at Deadwater last week and he told us about 2 new routes on the left side cliff (left of WISWIG). They were stellar routes! Apparently both rated about 5.8. Can anyone tell me the route names? They are memorable so I'd love to know. I don't see them in the new routes section of AdirondackRock. Thanks.

I helped Merg establish those a couple years ago. He likes to keep them on the down low because he uses them for guiding. There is also a route in between them, a crack through the roof, that I cleaned but never lead likely 5.9+ unless you find the secret hold that makes it closer to 5.8-. He told me the names but I forget.

I saw that line in between and it looks like there could be a super hard variation over the big part of the roof? Thanks for the post, but I'd sure like to know what Steve named them, seeing as the theme at Deadwater is so fun for naming!

From left to right they are Hoedown (5.8), Dig It (5.10+), Bear (5.11a), and Incognito (5.8).

Such a pleasure reading the new routes page. Thanks, Jim! Nice work at Santa Claus; as you know, I think there is still potential for more there. And it was interesting reading about Mt. Tom - I had that one on my radar, but had not yet had time to check it out. Not surprising that others got there first; there are more people in the backwoods now.

Fun stuff! Thanks again.

Tom
