Nah, baby alien. Saw them last spring when we visited Roswell, NM.

There is an existing old road that connects to the Casey Brook & Pinnacle area trails, but from what a friend had mentioned a couple years ago it was getting pretty overgrown and there were no markers along the way to mark turns etc. There is another old road that leads north of White Lily Pond, but I haven’t really heard on its status and how far it currently & ultimate leads. And yes judging from a few posts here & on facebook over the past couple years people have been bushwhacking up North River, Cheney Cobble, and Boreas Mountain from the Boreas Ponds loop roads. Also, Allen is just above White Lily Pond and it’s probably only a matter of time before a herd path is developed from that direction.

It appears that free spirit is blowing into that pipe and the smoke is being exhausted through the carburetor. Fake pothead!

“Officially”

Boreas Ponds/Vanderwhacker Wild Forest: Currently there are no designated tent sites on these lands - roadside or truck camping is not available at this time.
