Trout Stream Management Meetings

DEC has several public meetings scheduled this fall to discuss trout stream management. Sounds like more will be scheduled as well.

This popped up in my email today too. I'll be attending the one in Ballston Spa on Sept 13. Hopefully some of you fine gentlemen in this forum will attend so I can put a face to your avatars.

Anyone going tonight? I'll be there. Wearing a green polo shirt with a buck embroidered on it.

It was nice meeting you as well Buckladd and I'd be delighted to get together to jig lakers. I had asked about the status of the Imperial Dam on the Saranac in Plattsburgh before I left and was told that they just submitted for the permit from the Army Corps of Engineers. If the permit wins approval as a "general" permit work should begin in 2018 with completion in 2019. If the DEC has to submit for an individual permit then those dates will be a year later. I hope it wins approval.
