Rattlesnake Mtn...
... in Willsboro. Anyone know if this would be an appropriate snowshoe hike? Never done a snowshoe climb before so looking to start small.

Yes, Rattlesnake is a good snowshoe hike. The trail is unmarked and there are a few junctions with old lumber roads, but you should be able to follow the route as this is usually a popular hike. The final 0.3 mi. is quite steep.

The Champlain Area Trails group maintains this and other trails in the area. Check out their site:http://www.champlainareatrails.com/trails/
You can download maps from the site, too. |
