Bow Hunting

I've been bow hunting for 5 years and finally put a tag on a buck! Clean shot, he ran about 50 yards and he expired in a swampy bog. There was heavy blood laden for the whole 50 yds. I have never been so filled with adrenaline! It was intense throughout the whole thing. He made a wonderful harvest and I thank the spirits beyond and now. 150# field dressed, so, many meals ahead. My persistence paid off and I am truly grateful each time I harvest a deer.

Sorry, I couldn't share any pics with you. It was too dark by the time we dragged him out and then straight to the market for processing.

Congratulations Edb 46er. Sounds like you made a good shot. Good getting him cut up right away with the warm and wet weather coming.

The word that honestly comes to mind is, "Stoked". Great experience.

Nice work Ed. So guess you don't have to worry about hauling all that gear in to camp after all. good work

That was my bow tag that was filled. As for Cranberry, it looks like the MRP has to be the place for the gear haul, I couldn't hook up with a motorboat to haul all my gear into Janacks this year. The canoe would be okay for a small set-up but not my wall tent and stove. I completely didn't take into account the issue of firewood for at least a week. Gonna do it, "Do it right"! At the Plains, I can drive to my site even with a load of firewood.
Besides, I have a few haunts in the Plains as well.

Thanks

damn, and you don't have a motor boat huh. wish I lived there I have one. take pics of your camp set up, would be cool to see. Also if camp tips are needed I would talk to bioguide he posts movies and does that stuff he sure looks like he knows what he is doing.
