My first published short story

My ADK-set short story "Snapshot" has been published my the Midnight Times e-zine. If any of you have a minute, please visit the MT site
http://midnighttimes.com and read my piece. I would really appreciate your feedback. I will warn you in advance though, that "Snapshot" would get an R rating for language if it were turned into a movie. So if you're squeamish about that sort of thing, you may not want to check it out. I hope you enjoy it, and please post your comments. Thanks. -Kyle

I'm not much of a reader but must admit I was intrigued and engrossed in the story very much. It was an excellent read and I definitely didn't expect the ending! Must admit I would like to read a Part 2.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I was thinking of milking this thing like Stallone has with the Rocky movies.....haha. Nope. There will be no sequel. Thank you so much for reading. I'm hoping some more people will chime in too.

Thanks for sharing GG.

If there was a Part II, I imagine that's where the "Snapshots" would be taken...

GG- A nail biter, creepy and I, like WB, was hoping for a better ending! Ah, it's just me seeing the glass half full! I'll take off my rose colored glasses now.

I loved that line.....

Good story. I dig that kinda stuff.... Dark, but kinda light too.

Where's the end? you forgot the end.... there's, no end.

I hate it when they do that.

If they weren't all the way back down the mountain, you could call it a cliff hanger, but............

Seriously, good story, I think, I don't know if I like the ending or not, since there isn't any......

Other then that, GREAT JOB (maybe)

Well, it's up to GG to answer himself, but I believe he left the ending up to the reader...Similar to my son the artist not naming his artwork, leaving it up to the viewer to decide what they think it is...Hope I'm not off base...

Thanks for reading my piece Hawk, Barb, and thanks again MArz. The ending? All I will say is that, to me, there definitely is one, and maybe it's not literal, or maybe it is ....thanks again and keep the feedback coming. I really do appreciate all of it.

So what your saying is, "The Freak" actually did die, even though, the boys didn't check for sure, just leaving him for dead?

Maybe.

I think there is another less literal "ending" though. At least to me.
