New studies of climate change & boreal species
Paul Smith's has released info on a couple of studies of how climate change is affecting boreal bird species in the ADKs:

Those interested based on the headline should read the whole article. It's quite short and easy reading. Researchers were "surprised to find that several birds were more likely to occupy sites that were warmer and drier on average during the breeding season" and also found that habitat encroachment and logging practices were the biggest factors.
