I tied 1/2 dozen for a guy at work, The fly he supplied had no JC so i wasn't wasting JC on the flies especially for the price he wanted them for.

Well, wadjya all think?

Shaq, Gorgeous looking streamer,but it has one major flaw,the wing is way to loooong and as its being fished it will wrap itself underneath the hook shank and theres nothing more frustrating than towing around a streamer that does that,next time you tie featherwings keep the length to no more than the hook gap behind the bend,for bucktails no more than twice the gap behind the bend tho for my personal flies I keep it to 1 hook gap this eliminates a lot of short strikes also. I can say that Sero's real pic is much worse....hahaha

Hugh, Thanks for the tips, I will keep that is mind, I was working off a pattern I was provided and the guy wanted exactly what he had bought so that is where the proportions cam from. I am going to tie some up for myself and will conform to your tips.

GBS: I'll need some help getting the SS Heavyaspoop up the mountain again...haha
