hunting seasons

Hope this works this time.

Seem to still be some confusion over the big game seasons for the Northern zone.

I believe thier web site has the correct dates here :

http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/10003.html

Early bear : Sept 15 -Oct 12
Bow : Sept 27 - Oct 19
Muzzle loader Oct 13 -19
Regular ( gun) Oct 20 - Dec 2
A late M/L season in a few areas Dec 3 - 9

Please check your dates
Hate to see anyone miss an opening day or get in trouble from
not knowing the correct dates.

Phil

Roland, I'm guessing that the dates you have are for the 2007-8 license year tags. I think that unused 2006-7 license year tags are required prior to the October 1 start of this coming license year. ( 07-08 )

Thats exactly the case Phil. They are talking about the yellow 07/08 tags being used as of 10/1.

Roland look just under that and the Muzzle season says 10/13. They are refering to bow season for the correction. Hope to meet you that weekend. I'll be at camp.
