No thread but we went to see moe. at Red Rocks and went to Rocky Mountain National Park for a day. Absolutely Gorgeous!

Playing out another hunch...

Had a hunch OK Slip Falls off Route 28 would be safe enough to check out this past weekend, thankfully it also turned out to be true...

Cool. I was at Ross pond years ago, before the sign for OK slip was up. There was never anyone in the parking lot at the time. Now it’s pretty much full every weekend. I wonder if it’s all falls traffic? I must have walked right past it and not even known it.

Well, on our hike out we passed 3 different groups on their way in to the falls, non of which had any backpack, a few wearing sneakers, and one nice lady wearing a dress whom seemed very surprised when I mentioned they still had another hour hike to the falls.

BBLP is nice, but best to have a canoe.
Whortleberry is nice also, but I think my favorite is Pine Mountain Pond.
It should also be noted that there’s lots of BSCA activity in the area with the nearby Northern Frontier property around OK Slip Pond, but sometimes you can get lucky with some solitude, especially after Columbus Day.
