I ran into "Andrew" as he was heading into Lows a few weeks ago. Poor guy, had a real tub of a canoe and was having obvious difficulty paddling into the wind. Hopefully his technique will improve over the season, but his old short fat heavy fiberglass canoe wont help him much. He said he had all of 4 days of what he called intensive training to prepare him for the job. I wished him much luck.
