Good for you guys, pictures don't do it justice but they sure do make it look nice.
Is that two people sleeping under that blue tarp?

Two people slept under that tarp, yes. I took the picture from beneath my own tarp in the morning, first thing after waking up...

I must say Stripper Guy, this last photo of you (?) by the fire with bare feet and your camara is a wonderful shot. It sure captures what all this is about...!

Perhaps you are, but I know when I am in the woods, I sure don't feel older at all.

My humble contribution from last year, just two days before Hurricane Irene. This is at last of the Gill Brook campsites, and all the way at the end of it. I had the whole thing to myself that night. This is a "Moment" Tarptent. It weighs exactly 2 pounds, all inclusive.

Good to see you guys have been keeping my old thread alive. Below are three offerings from my trip to the Boundary Waters last year.
1) Phoebe Lake 2) Malberg Lake (note the Hornbeck at right!) 3) Little Saganaga Lake (the same day Irene slammed into New York)

Wow, great photos everyone! I can almost smell the wilderness just looking at them! However, almost just won't due. My wife and I are planning a quick trip out to the woods within a few weeks. Photos will follow

Excellent, Sleeping outside without tent is a special and rewarding experience. It somehow builds confidence to the inexperienced. Kudos!

After unloading the canoes on the first night of our 4 day canoe trip. This is at the lean-to near the north tip of Long Lake on the eastern shore
