Oddly enough though, my 3rd photo down in post #155 is from that Long Pond in the Siamese Ponds Wilderness near Speculator.
Here's another photo from that same camp-out:
Sweet, been meaning to camp out there. Here's another from the Pharaoh Wilderness:

A buddy and I came across this lean-to during a hike. It was the only gear around. Talk about bare essentials!

My best campsite ever, 30 odd trail miles from the nearest road, in the Wind River Range. The fireplace behind me threw heat like nobody's business and drafted all the smoke out the back like a modern wood stove. All the sweeter because I caught this there...

If you guys would decant those fine whiskeys into those disposable water bottles from the grocery/convenience store you would save a fair amount of weight! Thus room for more !!!

Now you're talking. That's how I usually roll. The photos I posted were of the bottles that my friends had huffed in to camp. This one here is "Daddy's apple juice."

Two people slept under that tarp, yes. I took the picture from beneath my own tarp in the morning, first thing after waking up...

I must say Stripper Guy, this last photo of you (?) by the fire with bare feet and your camara is a wonderful shot. It sure captures what all this is about...!
