I did fish but caught squat. But I am not much of a fisherman. I consider fishing the same as hunting and looking for mushrooms, just another reason to get into the woods.

Only 3 other participants to this thread other than myself in the past month...6 in the past 2 months...
Weak! Anyway, at over 2 years old, over 800 posts, and 41 pages of incredible photos, it's been a pretty good run I think. Perhaps it's time to just let this thread fade away. I would like to thank each and everyone that has contributed to this thread. I'll leave you with one more photo from Metcalf Lake taken a couple weeks ago... |

This thread can't die! I'm not a good enough photographer to contribute regularly but this is a regular and enjoyable thread to visit.

Here, here vtflyfish is right this thread can not die sometimes it just takes the right buttons to be pushed or maybe a little guilt trip once in a while!
![]() I personally would like to see double the existing posts by the end of September this is the challenge.

You could always start a fresh thread each spring...the thread can't die though, this is where I get my wallpaper from for my laptop. Wish I took good enough photos to include here as well

Cool photos and thank you for the comments.
![]() This thread has never been anything more than just a weekly place to share photos that were taken in the Adirondacks by the members of this forum. There is no such thing as being a "good enough" photographer to participate. It is not a contest, it's just sharing images. Just pick one and post it. The more the better, the less...well, the less interesting. |

I'm not too good at resizing my photos so they can be posted. It would be helpful if they were automatically resized when posting.I know it's my fault for being computerly challenged but I would definitely post pics more often if this feature were incorporated into the site.I'll see if I can figure out how to do it tonight and put a couple up.

I have not had any recent photos...but here is one from this same time last year on Treadway Mt. That's my son Josh and my Anonymous nephew at the camera.

Also I assume by "clear pond" you mean Follensby Clear Pond? That's just north of Fish Creek Ponds, near Floodwood Pond. |
