Fabric, waterproofing

General clothing products to restore water repellency.

Jackets, poncho etc... I have been using "Camp Dry" aerosol spray, seems to work okay.

In the past I used 3M Scotchguard aerosol spray, terrible fumes but it worked quite well.
The "new" safer 3M Scotchguard aerosol spray is useless, it does not seem to work well at all.

Anyone using the McNETT or NIKWAX fabric products?

I have used "SeamSeal" urethane tent recoat for the floor of an old eureka timberline and it worked quite well.
On the tent fly I use the "Camp Dry" with good success.

Regards,
John
