I would recommend (having a 5 month old ourselves) to try and hike around their neighborhood just to get a taste how the little one would react to being...

Not too much to add. In regards to starting early for the longer hikes as previously mentioned, you also want to do this for the obvious reason that days are shorter.

What would you say in the perfect quintessential peak in the Adirondacks? Is there one that is photographed more often than the rest and is found on more postcards or calendars then any other?
