I second this suggestion. I make a trip up the river almost every year. I try to go in high water so I can travel easier above the falls. I like the area around the Robinson River.

Round Lake is another option. It connects to Little Tupper so you can split time between the two locations. Easy put-in/take out as well.

I wear heavier weight socks or mid weight socks with liners so I have been able to get a good fit when I went a full size larger on both my regular and winter Solomons.
