AFAIK, the trail on state land is illegal; some guys who just went ahead and put in in while the state just looked the other way. It's a very poorly laid out trail.

Old or new? One of the BV models some of the bears have learned to get into and IIRC, BV stopped making that model because of it. I believe they have come out with newer, more foolproof models.

IIRC, there was a designated site at the NP bridge crossing at Brown's Brook. I saw it in '10, the year after that section of the NP was relocated, but I haven't seen it again. Maybe no one uses it...
