The one time I climbed Gothics in winter up the cables, full crampons were absolutey necessary. It was very icy and good snowshoes were not enough. As said, the cables may be buried and unusable.

Found - folding knife on Allen

Today on Allen, I found a Husky folding 8 tools-in-1 knife, about 10 minutes up from the waterfall on Allen Brook. If it's yours and you want it back, PM me.
