Exploring Henderson Lake

My opinion is Henderson Lake is definitely worth the small effort to get to. The trail is wide and flat. If you don't have a kayak/canoe cart definitely invest in one as they do come in handy. Anyway...

In 2015 I did a kayak trip on the Delaware river from Narrowsburg, NY to Mill Rift (Near Port Jervis). Its 31 miles I believe and we camped over night at the Barrysville, NY campground. A super fun...

I did Brown's Tract on 9/30 and it was windy. Came in from Raquette lake and had to bum rush that first beaver dam. There was another I had to exit the canoe for but fortunately I stayed dry. Went...

Campsites

Henderson is a great place to paddle as this was my first time. The campsites that we scouted are lacking. Yes I would want to be on the water. However IMO the lean-to is the nicest site but not...
