Gear Flea Market and Swap
 

Thinking of putting something together in late June or mid July. Wondering what the thoughts are.

great , if it is mostly about gear .

I should have thought and had some other options in that poll. And I can't seem to edit it now.

How many people would actually have gear to sell or swap if I put this together?

Not just interested to buy.

I would have gear to sell. Mostly kayaking equipment and some soft goods.

I am a hoarder, waiting for the next armagedeon.So with this in mind, and still having room to store all my pieces,I would just be a buyer if it were in July .My heirs will have a blast going thru all my"pieces".(or Not!!LOL)

I have some fly rods I could sell/swap...

I'm interested :).

If I bring and sell all the pairs of boots Val doesn't wear I could retire.

How does the weekend of June 23rd look for everyone?

I'll be in the 'Daks the last two weeks of June, so that would probably work for me.

Well, I won't be going anywhere so if people wanted to stay for two days why not? I think I'll set the date for Saturday and then we'll see what flies. I know sometimes people have plans for one day on a weekend but not the other.

I still got lots of cherry firewood for a night fire (as long as Kevins not the fire tender), plenty of room in the yard for tents, I got spare bedrooms, I'm right at the Lake for kayaking or swimming (depending on water temps).:eek:

Someone wants to bring a BBQ grill and some charcoal we can make this into a social gathering as well..........:dance:

If you want to email me a word.doc or a txt with a list of the items that you will be selling, I'll get a pdf file together a couple of weeks before with the list of the items for people to download.

I'll also ask Tim about posting it on the adkhighpeaks forum as well as a couple of other places.

The weekend of the 23rd is the rumney ruckus climbing gathering so I will be out of town. I'm interested if it gets changed to a different weekend. I've got lots of stuff to sell.

Count me in.......I have more stuff than storage - most likely will sell the old stuff - and go buy new stuff - Im a gear junky - and a poor manager of finances - lol.....

I'm in Jersry at the moment and just learned that I have a Powwow to go to that weekend so will schedule it for the following weekend

Bummer. I'll be on my way back to PA by then. I was looking forward to meeting everyone. I guess I'll post my stuff in the Classified section.

We're back to the 23rd. I got some bum info on the Powwow. It is the weekend of the 30th, which I thought originally.

Unless most people would prefer the middle of July.
