Shep A lesson in Loyalty

The monument to Shep, the dog there are songs about and who created much news in the 40's. His master, an old sheepherder died and his coffin was put on the train. Every day for the next few years, his dog Shep met the train hoping for his masters return, until one day he slipped crossing the tracks in front of a train and was killed. many people turned put for his memorial service and he is buried on a bluff above the RR Station.
