I'm need to find a place (Hotel, B&B) in Inlet in the summer for a weekend. Wondered if anyone has had any experience in that area. Thanks.Don't know for sure about much else in the area, but recently when I drove through I noticed an apartment or house right across from the (closed for the winter) grocery store, next to "Petals and Pedals" shop, with a "for rent" sign.

edit - oops, sorry , I didn't notice the "weekend" only request. disregard.

Try Cinnamon Bear B&B. Art & Marilou are great hosts, it's almost as good as spending a week-end with your grandparents.

(315) 357-6013 tell them Jon & Joy sent you.

You also have The Woods Inn- it's a restored ADK hotel.
The Eagle Bay Villa's- which a mile from Inlet. The Donovan Family is wonderful. Ask for Cliff and Mary.
Rocky Point condo's -if you want something really nice.
There is the Parquet Hotel behind the Ice Cream shop.

Check out the Adirondack Express ( it's our local weekly newspaper- it has a great online version)
You should be able to find any service you need in there.

Good Luck

Spring through fall you can camp at Eighth Lake Public Campground...we've camped there many a night. We've also stayed in Eagle Bay Villas, between Old Forge and Inlet...tiny cottages, or a big house, right on Fourth Lake. We've also stayed at Blarney Point, a little cottage on Sixth Lake. Have a meal at Kirsty's for us while you're there! :p
