The Oldest Intact warship in North America...

"Lost for over two centuries, the 1758 Land Tortoise radeau shipwreck lay hidden and undisturbed in the dark depths of a cold mountain lake in present day New York state. Then 232 years later, the floating gun battery was found by curious explorers using state-of-the-art side scan sonar."

Very interesting and informative...

Thanks. :)

Has anyone seen this locally for less? $45 seems a bit steep for a DVD IMHO.

Is there more info than what's on the website regarding this product? I mistook this post as advertisement because there really wasn't anything meaty added to the subject of the DVD. I'd like to hear more about WHY it was interesting and informative ;).

We got an email about this and I did a little research, a very interesting story from the history angle and the technology of underwater archaeology.

As far as getting the DVD, maybe you could rent it from the library?

that dvd looks awesome. I have a camp across from hague in Gull Bay. I would love to know where that wreck is, it'll be a nice new story for out on the boat this summer
